★ Ethiopian New Year is coming.. !
In Ethiopia, they use the Ethiopian Calendar as well as the Gregorian calendar. Ethiopia welcomes its New Year “2014” on September 11th, 2021.
While it is the hottest season in Japan, it is the rainy season and the coldest time of the year at Addis Ababa. When it turns to September, it is getting hotter, and the landscape is covered with wild yellow flower called “Adey Abeba” which only blooms in this season and symbolizes the Ethiopian New Year.
You can find many decorations modeled after the yellow flower in supermarkets, shopping centers, or even on the whole surface of buildings.
We can enjoy the New Year mood twice in the same year as our project continues.
