What it means for highway to be there
When heading from the Addis Ababa Science and Technology University (AASTU) to the Adama Science and Technology University (ASTU), we use the highway. The green signs that come into our sights remind me of those in Japan. Three lanes of smooth asphalt stretch across the Ethiopian landscape. There are vivid flowers in the median strip. Although the road which our project is targeting is not a large-scale road like a highway, it made me think deeply about the importance of mobility.
