The MNGD project has accepted a total of five Ethiopian students as long-term trainees into doctoral courses at Kyoto University, Ehime University and University of Miyazaki from 2020 during the pandemic. They have already returned to Ethiopia with their PhDs and are now working at their universities.
This is a video interview series with them after their return. We start with an interview with Dr. Argachew, who holds a PhD in Area Studies from the Graduate School of Asian and African Area Studies, Kyoto University. He is currently working at the Jinka University.
