Laboratory Activities in Jinka University was completed

Dr. Fukubayashi with laboratory technicians at the laboratory of JKU

On December 30 and 31, 2024, Dr. Fukubayashi (University of Miyazaki) conducted basic soil testing experiments in the laboratory at Jinka University (JKU) alongside laboratory technicians. The basic laboratory equipment delivered to Jinka University in 2020 is still being used effectively even after five years.

At the early stage of the project, there were numerous challenges even in carrying out basic experiments, such as the time required to contact the person who manages and holds the keys to the laboratory. However, at this time, by simply informing assistant professors at JKU of the schedule, experiments can be conducted smoothly. This reflects the significant contribution of the MNGD project to strengthening JKU’s capacity during 6 years.

At the conclusion of the activities, the Project requested the laboratory technicians to continue making effective use of the experimental equipment even after the project’s completion.
