In March 2024, Prof. Kamei (University of Miyazaki) and Dr. Iwai (Kyoto University) were invited to give a public lecture at Addis Ababa Science and Technology University (AASTU). Mr. Berachow (Lecturer, AASTU) who visited Japan for short-term training last year presented the progress and results of experiments conducted in the MNGD project.
Over 30 faculty members and students from AASTU attended the lecture and actively joined the discussion and questions during the Q&A session.
After the lecture, some students interested in the project’s activities visited the laboratory, while other researchers consulted with the two scholars about their research topics. This was an opportunity for much anticipation of continued involvement in the future.
