Three students from Ethiopia have arrived in Japan.

SATREPS/MNGD project has been accepting international students from Ethiopia again this year.

This time, one lecturer from Addis Ababa Science and Technology University (AASTU) and two lectures from Jinka University who have been contributing to the SATREPS/MNGD project activities in Ethiopia, came to Japan.

In April, Mr.Teshome Birhanu transferred to Graduate School of Engineering, Kyoto University. And Mr. Kassahun Yemane and Mr. Argachew Bochena transferred to the Graduate School of Asian and African Area Studies, Kyoto University.

Although their arrival in Japan was delayed due to the spread of COVID-19, they both arrived in Japan on June, and after a two-week waiting period to prevent infection, they went to each host universities.
This brings the total number of MNGD project students currently studying in Japan to five, including Mr. Alemshet from Miyazaki University and Mr. Frehaileab from Ehime University.
